DETAILS
A Hague School armchair, produced in the Netherlands in the 1920s and attributed to Hendrik Wouda. The chair is built from solid stained oak, with a clear architectural frame defined by flat planes, right angles, and a compact, grounded structure. The armrests extend as continuous horizontal planes, reinforcing the linear composition of the frame. This approach is characteristic of the Hague School, where furniture was reduced to essential volumes and structural clarity.

CONDITION
Structurally sound. The wood shows a natural patina with small marks. Original velvet upholstery with light, even discoloration.
