DETAILS
French coffee table in solid elm, dating from the 1970s. A thick circular top rests on four substantial cylindrical legs, giving the table a simple yet distinctly architectural presence. The reduced construction and generous use of solid wood are reminiscent of the work of Pierre Chapo and the French modernist tradition of the period. The elm has developed a warm natural tone, with visible grain, knots and subtle variations throughout.


CONDITION
Good vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use. The wood shows minor marks, scratches and natural variations.
