Designed by Illum Wikkelsø and produced in small quantities by Ryesberg Møbler, this rare “Apollo” set pairs a deep, contoured seat with a crisp black lacquered wooden base. This example retains its original white leather on both the chair and matching ottoman-a rare colourway that highlights the model’s sculptural form. The generous bucket seat offers notably high comfort for extended use.
CONDITION
Wear consistent with age and use. Light, even patination to the leather and wear to the lacquered frame are consistent with careful use; the set is structurally sound and ready to place.
